FIrefighters of any fire station protect the lives and property of the people in any city in any emergency. It saves people’s lives and protects their property and other valuable assets.
Fire Stations are also known as firehouses and fire halls in the local community. Fire stations are facilities in any community that station fire trucks with firefighting equipment and firefighters’ personal protective equipment. The names of fire stations often consider the town or district names they serve. Therefore, in major cities, there are multiple fire stations. Additionally, they include living areas for the firefighters, where they will take some rest in the station until an emergency happens. Moreover, they may also have a conference hall for the preparation and provide new courses for the firefighters, and a TV room to update the current situations of the different Cities. Furthermore, these include offices, dispatch facilities, and training and conference rooms.
Equipment
A fire station contains available dedicated staff of trained firefighters and volunteers. Fire stations may have different categories of firefighters, i.e. fully paid, partially paid, or volunteers. Generally, Firefighters work part-time, often reporting to duty only when called in for emergencies. In the United States, more than 70 % of them work on a volunteer basis.

Rescue equipment includes cutting and spreading tools, i.e. hydraulic cutters, ladders, rescue ropes for height/ depth rescue, harnesses, etc.

The most common system is an emergency telephone number, so the public can quickly dial a simple helpline number to reach emergency services like 911 or 112.

Types of Firefighters
Salaried Firefighter:
Salaried Firefighters are those who demand a salary for the work carried out in their service
Forest firefighters:
identified with their specialties due to the fire problem that the country suffers in several specific regions, especially in California.
Military firefighters:
The volunteer firefighter is one who does not have a salary. We could also find private firefighters, such as firefighters in organizations and factories.

Triple Combination Pumper
They are also known as “pumper trucks and are a combination of fire trucks and fire engines. They have water tanks, large cabins for firefighters, fire pumps, and hoses.
Conventional Fire Truck
Fire extinguishers, ladders, breathing apparatus, hydraulic rescue tools, thermal imaging cameras, and floodlights are among the most common pieces of fire equipment.
Turntable Ladder Truck
This specialized ladder truck is fitted with a turntable at the back, allowing the ladder not only to be raised and extended but also the bucket for firefighting or rescue operations.

These vehicles have a top-mounted ladder that can elevate to reach higher spaces than a ground ladder, a nickname for engine trucks. The main difference between a ladder truck and an engine truck is the inclusion of a hydraulic ladder.

Quints are a controversial type of fire truck that serves as a fire engine, water tank, ground ladder, and aerial ladder. These include a Water tank capacity of 300+ Gallons, an Aerial ladder, a Minimum of 15- or 20-foot suction hose, and a minimum of 85 feet of ground ladders.

A heavy rescue vehicle is specialized equipment used for technical rescue missions and deployed for road traffic accidents, building collapses, and water flood sites.
